DESCRIPTION:Registration: BEMIS Human Rights Day Celebration (Rights in practice CERD Awareness Series  and 10 years of Refuweegee) 10/12/25 – Fill in form \n\nThis year’s global theme is:\n\n“Dignity\, Freedom\, and Justice for All: Voices of Diversity in Scotland.”\nThis event forms part of the concluding activities of the BEMIS CERD Awareness Series\, which throughout the year has amplified community voices\, strengthened understanding of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD)\, and supported meaningful dialogue on equality and inclusion across Scotland.\nOur Human Rights Day gathering will feature:\n\n\nA panel discussion bringing together voices from women’s organisations\, the disability community\, LGBTQ+ advocates\, migrants and refugees\, youth leaders\, and climate justice activists.\n\n\nCultural performances\, including music\, celebrating the richness and diversity of Scotland’s communities.\n\n\nA reflection on the importance of dignity\, freedom\, and justice- values at the core of human rights and key to building a more inclusive Scotland.\n\n\nWe would be delighted to host you as we come together to honour Human Rights Day\, share lived experiences\, and reaffirm our collective commitment to making Scotland a place where everyone can fully enjoy their rights without discrimination.\n\nPlease kindly confirm your availability and fill the attendance form at your earliest convenience\n\nRegistration: BEMIS Human Rights Day Celebration (Rights in practice CERD Awareness Series  and 10 years of Refuweegee) 10/12/25 – Fill in form
