BEMIS is delighted to celebrate the success of our community event held at Falkirk Football Club on 4th July, which brought together families, children and community members for a truly memorable day.
The event was a brilliant success, with people of all ages getting involved in the wide range of activities on offer. Football games and live music to family-friendly activities and great food, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Children had the opportunity to take part in football skills sessions led by coaches from the Falkirk Foundation, while families enjoyed live music, face painting, inflatables and a huge buffet that kept attendees fuelled throughout the day. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a real sense of community spirit on display. A particular highlight was seeing local community police officers getting involved in games and activities with the children, helping to create a fun, friendly and positive atmosphere throughout the event.
We have received fantastic feedback from participants, with many highlighting the inclusive atmosphere, excellent activities and opportunity to connect with others. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together, making new connections and enjoying the day as a community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) for their support in helping make the event possible. We are also extremely grateful to Falkirk Football Club and the Falkirk FC Foundation for hosting the event in their venue and providing coaches who engaged children throughout the day.
