Employment, Race Equality & the Referendum

March 11, 2014 by Neil Foster

On Monday we held our Employment, Race Equality & the Referendum conference at the University of Glasgow (photos here). On both the way in and way out we asked people the same question that will be asked in the Independence Referendum – ‘Should Scotland be an independent country?’. The results of these polls were as follows:

Pre-event (53 responses):

Yes: 47%
No: 17%
Don’t know: 36%

Post-event (45 responses):

Yes: 51%
No: 29%
Don’t know: 20%
